@Ren: One thing they don't take into account when quoting Top Gear, is that the price in Australia doesn't make the car 'worth it'. For the example you've posted, it's around a thirty thousand pound car in England, which is under fifty grand in AUD. So, we are putting $70k on top of what most people are paying for it. I know Asian countries can be worse than us for it... but it's just a right kicker.

Good old LCT taxes.... and every other tax they throw on them. I don't mind lotus's but there are a lot of other cars I would rather have over them.
