If you can spare an extra $5k ontop of your $40k, have you considered an S Editon?

Lol I'm thinking Shane hit the nail on the head, might thrash the liberty for a little longer.

I'm now looking at the new Suby XV , although not many options with it.

Test drove a 2011 X-Trail, not too bad at all!

There is my 2c for the month :-)

Hi guys and hi Alex!

Oh hai.

I'm now looking at the new Suby XV

There is a thread on here you should read....

I would keep the Liberty until the wheels fall off.
I have driven the X-Trail (when did they get so big??) and I was most unimpressed.
Mind you, a fan of soft roaders Im not.

Have you considered a Honda Accord?
What about a 'modern classic' the Liberty B4?
:P

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

X-Trail was the most rolley polley car I've ever driven! Was a 2003 model though - they might have improved since then. Our old 80 series handled better :P

I'm a little confused how a Liberty is not a family car. It's got 4 doors, a big boot, great safety rating and is going to be a much nicer drive than anything you're looking at from what you've listed. Why fall into the stereotype of have family, need SUV?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.
