Depends on the serial etc, Collectors will actually pay more than $100 for certain serial notes, especially the first of a run.
Because it's worth more than old $100 notes

Indeed,Collectors want shit so they pay for it. 1930 Penny for instance... that sure as shit cannot be had for the equivalent value of a penny.Is that not slightly idiotic?

Some of the coins and notes they buy and sell on Pawn Stars is amazing what they go for. Some coins go for over $10,000!
Printing errors in notes is another one collectors like as no 2 errors are the same.
