Yeah, I hit an Emu after less than a week of Outback ownership. Smashed the trans. cooler and died on me in the middle of NOWHERE.

Sucks knowing you've just wiped a few grand off the resale value and it wasn't even your fault.

She said she was more upset by the bags, said the smelt and let off a powder that made her feel like she couldn't breathe! She must have hit it near home though becasue I think it's there now, but she needs it towed because the seatbelt wont retract now.

Yeah it would suck, Nik. But in the end, what can ya do aye! Just gotta pull ya socks up and get on with it like a bauss!

Those imprezzas are pretty uggo, but still a great build quality! Love the Oil filter on top of the engine! Cant wait to give dad's XV a thrash!

Can you suggest a product to put on a brand new car to protect it, mate? would the V7 do the job?

Farout. Sister picked up her brand new car on Saturday. Hit a kangaroo last night. Car is un drivable because air bags went off!

Are you serious! Just she got through insurance to get it fixed or is there something else because it's one day old?

That really doesn't make sense!

I meant, does she go through insurance to get her one day old car fixed?

Are you trying to ask if she is going to let insurance pay to get it fixed or if she will fork out what is most likely tens of thousands of dollars to fix a car that might actually be a write-off (most often is when the airbags go off nowdays)

Haha, I thought you had a stroke! :P

Yeah, I'd assume insurance would be the only way! I just hope she was smart and insured it straight away/before she picked it up! I'm sure dad would have made her do it!

She will most likely have a new for old replacement under her insurance for a vehicle aged less then 2 years in a total loss scenario (as you said Adam, generally whern airbags go off, its considered a write off)

I work right near an Audi showroom, some dude crashed a test car a few weeks back. Unsure if it was a worker there or a test pilot but either way, would suck worse crashing a car not belonging to you.

Hahaha, Brett will know this one.

An old mate of mine crashed a dealership car from the yard he was working at... WRX into brand new two door BMW when he lost it. Hahaha. Somehow got away with it because the court deemed it to be an accident of the road because it was raining!
