Outline the range and use of solid and liquid adjuncts available to the brewer. Your answer should include storage and processing issues for the two types of adjuncts and the advantages or otherwise of using adjuncts in wort production.

GO!

Rice, it is cheap.
Wheat....... Head retention?

Was started by someone in the Baptist church 60 odd years ago - hence the name Baptist Community Services.

However, it has moved away from that (all bar the name) and if you met the people in my office here, you would never know it used to be a Christian organisation haha!

We also have residential facilities too - nursing homes, hostels, etc

You make me sick.

Go buy the whole series, and watch it back to back on DVD, until you are done, as punishment.

Are they not the same thing?

IPA is a style of Pale Ale beer.

Imperial Pale Ale is a twice-hopped and boiled (or Double) Pale Ale? Correct me Brett/Nik.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Also you need to do more research into adjuncts before I can consider you useful.

Sig worthy.

Derogatory term for adjuncts, ingredients added to low-end beer to lower production costs. Examples are rice (used by Budweiser and Coors) and corn syrup (used by Miller). Adjunk detracts from the malty flavor and makes the final product more watery and more drinkable for people who don't like beer, yet less drinkable for people who do.

Imperials are usually considerably stronger versions of regular styles. The addition of more hops is really only to balance out the increase in sweetness from the stronger wort.

India Pale ales are usually around 5.6-6% and based on English pale ales. Imperials are normally upwards of 7% and based on the American Pale ales

Sig worthy.
