Not sure I follow where this is going.
Here's a question for you all.
If a man is physically incapacitated, and in pain, and no longer wants to live, is it okay for him to ask a doctor to put him down? And if the doctor agrees, should he be held liable for murder? His mind is perfect, but it is a decision that he has made himself.
Whats her position shaz?
Teller.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Controversial topic, but seeing my grandad laying in a hospital bed hardly able to move due to cancer - no

Swon

I don't understand what is so controversial about it, it shouldn't be, if someone is in a right state of mind and in agony I think they should have the right to call it quits and should also be able to ask for a Dr to do it medically without the Dr getting into trouble. People pull the plug on life support, people put down animals that are beyond repair......
DR PEPPER PLEASE END IT FOR ME.

Agreed mate. This bloke is saying that the only way for him to be put out of his suffering, is to starve himself to death now, because the government wont allow him to be euthanised without holding the doctor accountable. I think every man and woman should be given the opportunity to die a dignified death should they wish it, if their body is no longer useable, and they are literally unable to do anything.

Whilst i mostly agree, and have not read the article. If there is a chance of the man surviving, he is technically suiciding. If he is (for want of a better term) done for, i agree 100%.

If they are judged to be of sound mind and have accepted and are ready to die i dont see why not at all.
a family friend of ours who was 98 years old died last night after a long battle. she has been unwell for a few years now and has nearly died several times, hasnt been well or had any quality of life really for this time, and it was a blessing really to see her go quietly and with no pain finally. but she had accepted death many years ago when she was restricted to a bed and couldnt do anything.
so yes i think it should be legal.

The guy in question has "Lockdown Syndrome" where his mind is 100% able to still do everything else he could, but he is paralyzed from the neck down. No form of treatment or cure.
edit** CA Package sold. Hahahahaha. That was quick.
