Loving this car! The slim line racks transform the car. Can I ask how you modded the factory cross bars to fit the JDM racks? I purchased some aus-spec racks for my Legacy but obviously wouldnt fit. Did you just trim the clip that goes under?

yer i have the ones that clamp on the top nad bottom of the aus delivered rails, you need to remove the bottom plate and trim off about 20mm off it or when you pick up the bottom plate you will see there is a slight bend at the end where it holds onto the rail, you need to cut that off then move that...
its hard to explain, but basically you need to shortern the bottom plate on the rails and then bend them again also you need to shortern the bolts or they hit the roof when you tighten up them

small update
recently installed:
half a mcintosh sound system
like new door trims (thanks motoboy)
legacy rear garnish (thanks bobbyjimmy)
custom plasti dip eye lids
will be getting some new pics up soon just need to charge the camera battery...

digging up what seems to be an old thread, but have changed a few things, nothing major
picked up some Legacy HID's from benstiwagon
have nearly finished wiring them in, will be putting up a DIY on how to wire the Legacy HID's to work in AUSD gen3's
oh yer rolling on stockies... new pics soon when wheels arrive

Went to fit the new rims and low and behold the supplier sent me 3 5x100 and 1 5x114.3... *palmface*
Just seems to be my luck with this car, lip has also turned up, just need to do some shortening and fitting
Thinking of doing the brakes and braided lines now due to the delay

vicelore - i assume you are talking about brake lines??? there is a place in the UK that does goodridge with your choice of pvc colour coverings over the lines and are ADR approved, i just need to get my ass into gear and get some

new rims, got pics, fitted all new tie rod ends, steering rack boots, adjusted all wheels so have a rough wheel alighment now.. adn finally removed the crap outback badges on the doors as well...!
