Tafe is awesome.

I much prefer the CAD drawing to the manual drafting. I get so frustrated because I know I can draw a particular object in 30 seconds on CAD but it takes me half an hour on paper :sarcastic:

Our minor assessment is a gearbox. Have to draw a few components using blocks then put it all together in third angle projection. It'd be even better if the initial drawing had the correct measurements haha but I think I've worked it out and can edit the block accordingly.

Now that I have the program I can get a head start on the major project too. Keeen!

Lots of it will just be practice, setting out is the hardest thing, especially trying to fit it all onto one sheet! Which is where on the job training helps!
