I remember being with my mate in his 07 sti the night we put a genome muffler on it. He gave it a boot in 2nd gear from around 40-60/70km in a 50 zone to listen to the muffler. Pulled up by a HWP the first thing the cop said was ' do you think because you drive a plastic piece of shit your a race car driver? Have you got any trophys at home?'

Man that sucks Morgz! Hopefully the cop doesnt make an ass out of himself and report his thoughts as that may cause shit with insurance etc? Did he get your rego/details etc?
Im sure if it was 130kph+ it woulda ended up much much worse!

Nah no one went near my car... That I know of...? But they can't me for anything anyway!

Neg driving is the norm. When I came off the road once, I flagged down a car, and it was actually a cop going to work. He was really helpful, but told me that if the car needed towing, then basically I could get charged!
I'm sure there may be circumstances where if the accident was totally out of your control, maybe something like an oil spill that wasn't marked or whatever, then it may be waived..

Friend of mine got done neg driving. coming down the pacific highway just outside of heatherbrae/Raymond Terrace, adverse weather conditions, rain, water everywhere etc, driving to the conditions, hit a puddle and aquaplaned into the wall and smashed up the car. got done for Neg Driving

in her case it was still all covered. generally i think it is, cause its just classed as an act of negligence causing an incident.

Neg driving is the standard charge for an acco. Katie got done when she flipped the car. She wasn't driving dangerously at all (slight jolt through the steering wheel to avoid a bird on the road, started sliding on the damp road and lost it).

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.
