How was the trip Brett? was that your first time over east?

It was awesome. I haven't been east since 2001. First time in Brissy, first time to Byron too.
The guys at Stone and Wood are such easy going, down to earth dudes. They also happen to be very 'ing good at growing a brewery. Not to mention the beer. Drinking beers that were bottled only minutes earlier is pretty special.

Sounds nice! I have only ever been through Byron for a quick look on my way to the Gold Coast, never really wanted to stop there before. Perhaps I should go for a trip up and sample the brewery.... I just can't stand the 'ing hippies up there.

They annoy me, that is what they do Never needed to holiday in Byron, same shit in my home town only less hippies (and minus the brewery ). If I am going to go for a four hour drive I will just drive to the Gold Coast ... but now because of Brewery I might have to change my mind haha.

theres two breweries in byron. Although the beers at Byron bay brewing co. were pretty crap. Morgan is right though. There aren't that many hippies there. Way more tourists, oh and backpackers. In fact thats the reason you should go Josh. And when you do, go to Cheeky Monkey bar. Loads of loose backpackers!

@Nik - The Beer awards dinner is on Friday night so Id need to be back in Perth by 4pm at the latest, which would only mean a half day on friday. Its probably not worth me coming down for 1.5 days anyway. Plus I could do with some study time. Exams are next week. Im not working at the Old Brewery this week either.
