I had Thai for lunch and asked them to make it extra extra hot, which is still usually as hot as ice cream, but I brought in a jar of my chilli relish that I made from last seasons crop of habaneros that I grew, smashed a bit in that and it made it good

There is an Indian or Thai (I can't remember which) resteraunt that friends of ours go to, because they love hot food.
The menu rates the 'hotness' Mild, Med, Hot then it goes 1X, 2X, 3X.
You can ask for hotter than 3X but the chef comes out of the kitchen to see if the person ordering is a regular and can handle it.

My mate orders his meals 4X then puts chilli seeds on it.
I consider myself not bad with spicy food, but this bloke is a siko.

If he is keen on spice tell him to stop screwing around with the seeds, it is a common misconception that the heat is in the seeds, they do hold heat but the hottest part of the chilli is the flesh that holds them in place and the top part of the chilli... tis were the most concentrated capsaicin is found.
