So.....I've been playing and learning today.
Tried every which way to bleed the air from the power steering.
Flushed the fluid and even tried raising the reservoir above the pump.....nothing.
Turns out the pumps fail and suck air through the seal.
Subaru want, wait for it..............
............$1900 for a new pump.
Never gunna happen.
I'll start a thread later, as this can be a trap for you players.

Can't get a new pump from the wreckers or second hand?
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Pull apart pump, Buy $8 in o-rings to suit, Put together, So much profit.

Wouldn't they be staring at your brain if your eyes rolled back? You'd be looking at the ceiling if your head rolled back.

Finally killed the clutch in the pretzel! Well its at the stage where driving normally i can accelerate it it slips a bit. Ordered a new one from the US, and an gonna do new timing belt kit/water pump, rear main, rocker cover seals, and probably change every coolant hose.
I cant think of anything else i shouls change apart from rebush the cross Member?
And then something something but sex.
