Shaz! What have you done on the STI cluster thread...
Are you trying to piss off the volcano? Lol!
I don't agree with him.. I think its ridiculous to say that, and not offer help especially if you have the knowledge.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

going to agree with Shaz 100% here. there are alot of konwledgable guys here in many areas both cars and not, who are always offering up their advice tips suggestions and sometimes services free of charge to forum members to help each other out. In my opinion this is what sets Subyclub apart from alot of other car forums, our sense of community and helping each other out is second to none i believe.
to say something like that and to not even offer some form of help or advice is rude and selfish in my opinion.
just my two cents worth

Agreed guys... not a very good forum member there...

Still I'm going over to his work tomorrow to see if I can get the front passenger door from him... but will be careful...

I agree. And this is one of the many reasons why I've stuck with SubyClub. Usually when I join a car enthusiast forum I leave within a couple of weeks after getting the questions I needed answered (and sometimes I don't even get that far as I've had someone pull a 'flux capacitor' stunt on me).going to agree with Shaz 100% here. there are alot of konwledgable guys here in many areas both cars and not, who are always offering up their advice tips suggestions and sometimes services free of charge to forum members to help each other out. I'd always offer my advice and help if I knew what I was talking about. Unfortunately I'm not a mechanic so can't give very specific details on many of the things we discuss here. But that doesn't mean I don't have knowledge elsewhere where people may lack.

whats the point in having knowledge and wisdom if you arent willing to share it and help benefit others? this is the exact reason why i am a coach, ive had some of the best advice and lessons taught to me by some of the best in the sport, and now im taking the opportunity to pass on this knowledge to others now, while still learning from the best in the business. I never had to pay for my coaching over the past 10 years, all this was given to me freely, and this is probably the reason why i now choose to give up my time for free to help out and coach everyone in my sport
Alright, im done ranting for one day.

I think I know a fair bit about health, natural in particular, from the wife, and I know quite a but about IT stuff, since I'm a software engineer or sorts... LOL!

its just a thing that really grinds my gears big time. my whole life ive been bought up around the attitude of do what you can to help others out, and thats exactly what i try and do. i could charge $50 an hour to offer my coaching services to those who i do, there are guys in Newcastle already charging it, yet i continue to do it for free.
to have an attitude like that is pretty poor form i think. how hard is it really to type a paragraph or two out that would help someone out with their question?
