So the 'introductory rate' was $320/pn - right now, the same room is $470/pn - ! - Luckily we thought ahead and booked out a few months in advance (they go once a month) at the introductory rate. It's getting beyond stupid in Perth now.

I am beginning to think that you are really not at all a fan of the mining in WA Nikro.

I like that we have at least four more years of funds being used on country roads and infrastructure even in areas like this that aren't mining towns - but the effect on pricing and attitudes is really a bummer. Couple internet shopping, which is where most mining people are actually spending most of their money, ordering things from their donger, and retail cops it hard.
