I started looking into that Mark but TBH I wanted something that I knew 100% would work and I could turn the car around in less than a day.
Hoists are a little harder to come by these days and I have no time to be off chasing missing bits or fixing stuff-ups.

Kit is pretty good. New flywheel (ring gear and spigot fitted), genuine flywheel bolts, genuine fork and all clips plus the clutch kit.

Thanks for the tip anyway. :)

Thats alright. The subaru wreckers i went to said they had heaps of problems with the ej22 kit, but i and others online havent had any.

car hoist will be something i'll have one day, not that i'd use it much but their just cool to have and at around 2k cant go wrong.

Some bloke is here to fix the phone line :)

I do remember reading that the ej22 can be a bit hit and miss, even my clutch bloke said there were different kits depending on the month/year of the GenIII but the kit I got covers them all.

I need to replace the master as the pedal is still close to the floor but the feel and bite is so much better and the pedal is heaps lighter. It seems to have greatly reduced the on/off throttle clunk in the driveline too that it's always had.

The clutch was replaced by Subaru just before we bought it and has done about 70k and was just about completely worn out, which to me seems a bit poor. Ive had cars where the clutch will go well over 100k.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I have this atm. Checked the diff mount bushes last week whilst doing the clutch and bingo!

Could not be stuffed doing them right now. The clutch change put me off working on the car for a while.

Did you end up selling the Commodore to that arsehole?

It's funny, all our IT department choose Android phones and all our users choose iPhones.
