Anyone who has ever worked around alcohol knows what I mean.
The things you see stay with you for life.
I worked in many establishments in my youth. Looking back now I'm wiser for it and enlightened. There are many many grubby people out there with issues that make your own seem insignificant.
I always say ......to see what's really inside someone.... have a drink with them.
Having said that... it's 1200hrs right now.
Beer time.

Works so slow today. Just been tidying up the workshop and increasing my cupboard full of stuff to take home.
Going to the local pub for dinner tonight, its $5 chicken schnitzel night, should be interesting!

Well loving what you do is a good start... its the negative things that shouldn't be there, which is a worry...I love what I do, but it's killing us. I know it is.

Is there a way you can do what u like to do without problems that are killing you... such as work somewhere else, doing the same job, but not working for yourself? Only thing is then it might just become a job...
Its hard, coz its not a simple choice to make...

Shoot the customers on arrival that is my solution. 
dealing with the public, I couldn't do it, You probably don't know this about me but I am prone to flying off the handle when people do stupid/annoying shit

Oh the stories I could tell.....
I'm not going to start.
The worst thing about it all is you end up looking at every new face suspiciously. Wondering to yourself what their demon is like. You become a fairly decent judge of character but some people cop it for the sins of others if you know what I mean.
The thing that always pissed me off was when someone mistook my professionalism & kindness for weakness.

I've been there.. Now work is just to pay bills and get me by.. rather have just enough $$ to get along and enjoy time with the important peeps
I Looked back and i worked my arse off since i left uni.. constantly trying to climb the corporate and salary ladder... when i look back at my last 7 years of working.. i Clocked up just over $600k
what do i have now.. not a heap.. a few failed relationships due to work coming first too often
The last 6 months i have worked Less, enjoyed life more and overall been a shitload happier
Changes your perspective on things...

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.
