Yeah it was banger, Adam. I used cheesy Doritos because it's all I had, I'd definitely suggest using original unsalted though. It really was popcorn chicken style. Also, my avocado dip was pretty lame, I didn't have any red onion or tomato, or even sweet chilli sauce/ thousand island/ sour cream in the house... so it was just mashed and seasoned. 

 

Next weekend I'll have another bash at it. I didn't bother flouring the chicken pieces - but I did mix in a bit of Panko & dill to the corn chips.

So... Twin turbo Guru's. Cause of that whistle/whining sound? All hoses have been checked that the hose clamps are tight and no boost lines seem to be loose or off? The sound comes on as soon as boos starts rising and flutters with the BOV? Tried it with plumb back and full atmo but still there, no louder or quieter. The engine has done just over 200,000k's and has a lovely big end knock at very low RPM and start up so currently sourcing another engine (sticking with the twins), probably from Ichiban (spoke to Ben today on the phone).

 

 

Congratulation, you have a boost leak. Check, re-check and check again all of your connections are done up tight.

 

Can be time consuming to find, but the good thing is - it is a cheap fix!
