Shaz, the 600D's are a good piece of gear, im not sure if you can still get them? i think i heard the 700D was superseding them so im not sure about them

Zac, if you are after something not so serious and just to muck around with, go grab an 1100D twin lens kit, best bang for buck you will get for any DSLR right now.

if you want to get something a bit more professional, go for a lower number one, (three digit's 600D etc) as you will get alot more features on it. just depends on your budget really

Thanks man... that was kind of why I thought the 350D would be good... since lower than 550D... but obviously not the case... LOL!

 

I'll keep that in mind... and in the meantime, use the Fuji to see what I can do with it... sux it doesn't take vids though... have to use the phone for that...

Cameras that start with C are cinema style cameras. ie C100/C300

Zac, generally the first digit should be a higher number, but less zeros and shit after it for a better camera.

 

So in Nikon, A D90 is better than a D70
