STi is the performance side of Subaru, in the same way that HSV is to Holden. What do you mean there is a difference between genuine and STi?

 

If you had a choice between an aftermarket part and an STi part, both at the same price, which would you get?

I don't think I have anything STi on my car at the moment... Used to have the 20mm swaybar but a WL 22mm came up at a good price so I UPGRADED

Whiteline probably make better suspension arms then the STI ones, Tein make better coilovers...

Everyone has their different views of course, and I am all for quality. The only things I've been able to afford I've bought. I just really like the STi stuff. The point I was trying to make wasn't anything but the price (not a dig at you of course 'dam). I'm hesitant in buying the really expensive things as well... I just feel that my car is complete with the parts made for it.

That if it weren't for the price, a lot more people would be going STi. That's the only complaint I've heard about STi products, their price.
