I imagine for Elvis, the experience was like Bungy Jumping or similar 'extreme' activity...he almost hyperventilated from over excitement :)

I coated it in corn flour and cooked it on some foil on a hot plate! It stuck a little bit though, so presentation wise it was shit.

But yum :) and crisped up nicely!

There are differences between the snapper you get from around WA to SA as they are longer and less bulky, ones you get from QLD down the NSW coast are shorter and bulkier looking and the meat is a bit sweeter too.

It is so much better than buying it! 

 

Crabbing is also cool. Haven't been mud crabbing in a bit but these are the spanner crabs we caught a couple of weeks ago when I went out with Dad.

 

These are not cooked, they are that colour to start with.
