Some radiators use a sealed lower end tank for the transmission, which means it would use the coolant as a heat sink.

 

But doesn't the tranny have it's own little radiator for a cooler.

 

Why does it need to flow through the main radiator as well?

Yeah, it wasn't that amazing, they do have some decent products coming out, but as usual it's at a stupid premium price tag. The good news is that people will buy it

Paint codes can ead, they list to different shades for my colour \

Because Daihatsu?

It's just something I came across, my manual had an auto radiator with the pipes on either end of the lower tank and when I did an auto/manual conversion for my brother (never fooking again) it had it all connected up.

You could blow air from one pipe out through the other so it definitely didn't tap into the coolant.

I heard it took some damage but its still fine.

 

The good news is that people will buy it with out batting an eye lid, so that is the big plus.

 

Now thats the good kind of customers.

The better transmission coolers go through their own little radiator, but these ones just use the radiator.

Haha, you have the same paint as me, as soon as I read paint code I knew you were talking about white.

haha yea

The code is 230, its just not a touch up either. I'm colour coding the strips along the doors so its going to have to be right.
