bahhhh I don't want to put too much into it but at the same time I don't want to leave too much out.

I'm actually really sweating on this one. I NEED to get out of where I am

I generally read the job ad description and just answer why I fit that description.

Don't make it any more than an intro (I am applying for blah blah job as advertised on blah blah date) and 2 paragraphs on why you match their job description.

In saying that I didn't get the last job I applied for so don't take my word for it.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

I am writing to you to apply for the advertised position with Boral Cement Limited. I am interested in being employed in the Engineering Mechanical position, located at any of the 3 sites.

I am currently a trade qualified Design Drafter and have been working in the trade for over 6 years. I am looking to broaden my skills as well as get a change of scenery. Below are some of my stronger attributes that I believe would make me well suited for the position.

-       My apprenticeship was with Joy, a manufacture of Underground Coal mining machinery, where I received a very broad exposure to many different aspects of heavy machinery design, including access, electrical, hydraulic, and basic project management. As well as underground and practical experience.

-       I have a very keen eye for detail and am quite particular when it comes to designing. I have this outlook with everything I do in my work and personal life.

-       Safety conscious.

-       Strong reading/writing skills as well as being able to read and interpret drawings.

I hope that these points assist you in considering me for the advertised role.

Going to need something once I put the 17's on wayyyy to much high.
