Guys.. wtf is going on with Facebook? How can the group named the same as the forum not be the official group of SubyClub.com.

I have no idea and don't know the exact details, but it's gonna be closed and removed. The initial owner of the Facebook group has since opened up a new Facebook group for Subaru enthusiasts.

Adam - i always attach the cover letter as a separate document to an email, but you can do it either way. it doesn't make much difference

Well I know there is a Facebook 'page' (the one linked in top right of this forum). But thats a bit different to a Group which was fun until that cock fight started a couple of weeks ago.

I am currently studying and enjoying the Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting at Gosford TAFE and am extremely keen to move into a position where I can use these skills.

 

I am currently employed in an administration role with Baptist Community Services and have been in this role for over five years.  Although I enjoy the work, I am looking to advance my career by commencing in a role in design/drafting.

 

Because of my interest in the drafting industry and desire to change careers, I commenced the TAFE course in mid-2012 while still employed by BCS and have approximately 12 months until completion.  Although my current course is in Engineering Drafting, it includes training in architectural aspects, which is the area that interests me most.

 

I am a fast learner, have a positive attitude and am computer literate.  I have experience in AutoCAD, Inventor and will continue to learn various programs throughout the remainder of my course.  Having worked in a busy office environment for the last five years, I can working under pressure, meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

I feel that my previous work experience, study and experience with CAD will make me an excellent candidate for this role and provide a great progression for my career.

DEVOOOOO!!!!! Em wanted cuddles again tonight, but because i have the work hilux i can't really go stay the night :(

There's nothing stopping me but my Boss has already gone out on a pretty big limb to trust me to take the ute home and back in the morning. Don't really wanna push my luck any further then i have, and ruin the respect he has for me.

All admin here have the same opinion on removing the page given the way some people have behaved on there.

It's a bad reflection on our forum.

Regulars in GT know stuff that goes on here is harmless but newbies seeing that carry on on the FB page is not going to make them want to sign up and participate here.
