Nice nice... well looks like a decent bike that isn't a 250cc is going to be around the 4-5k mark... so will have to budget and save for about 6k... almost as much as I paid for my car.. LOL!

You don't need a bike to GET your license.
Get the license then just test ride a brand new one of everything LAMS approved. Ninja 250 or 300, GS500, Hyosung, CB250.
Just see what feels right. Think about the seating position, how it feels on the road, how the weight of the bike feels when you turn....it's all very different for each bike and you won't know you like it till you've ridden it.
Bikes are very different to cars, they are very personal.
I totally agree with this... which is why I'm going to go for the license and stuff sometime in the next month of 2.... and then just test ride like you said... riding position is a bit deal, because I don't want to be uncomfortable and each person is different, so what I may find horrid, you might find comfortable... I was never a fan of leaning too far over the petrol tank, so will have to see what doest feel awkward... yeah it is a personal thing
I had a feeling the 125cc would feel too tiny for me... too weak... so I was thinking 250... and the Ninja is a nice bike... but will test ride and see what I like...
Thanks bud...

This man speaks truths. It's definitely worthwhile taking the time to make the decision in this instance Zac. You won't regret it.

Haha... good point.. but like AMSy said... this isn't a decision anyone else can make... If I'm the rider, I have to see what I like the best... and what feels right.. only I'd know that... but yeah, will have to do many test rides of different bikes before I buy one... Oh well, more time to save
