I've walked away from perfectly good cars because the body has too many scratches.

If you are paying good money for a car, I would be the same... but if you are talking about a $500 boonger then a couple of dents doesn't really matter.

Serving size is too small but that is an easy fix! haha.

Cheers man, five pieces of filled ravioli is surprisingly filling! Also, they are big pieces, that plate is just under 40cm long!!!

American motor, roughly what, 9L? Gets just under 800hP in 2013.

BMW (Well Brabham I guess) gets 1400hp out of 1.5L in 1986.

:D

Ahh right, true.. but not comparing apples with apples either. Two completely different engines with very different purposes.

540ci is 8.85L - It's a Naturally aspirated carby V8 that probably makes it power at like 6000RPM and would be making big power almost from idle, so you could smack it in a street car and it would be really nice to drive and last a long time, or in a track car and have a good strong reliable engine that is not stressed to make the power it is making (you could smash some forced induction at it and and make a lot more than 1500hp.

The other engine meanwhile is a highly stressed F1 purpose built engine that most likely costs 10 times the amount of money to build over the previous engine, it has forced induction running mega boost and most likely needs a full rebuild after every race - you couldn't have it in a road car because it probably wouldn't have enough power off boost to move a normal sized car...

^^ I didn't like the Nissan IDX at all when I first seen it... but I am now looking at it in a different light, it is kind of interesting.
