To add to my stupidity today, I went round to a friends place to change the oil in her car (not a euphemism sadly), took the jacks, jack stands, oil aaaand forgot my toolkit 
Going back on Thursday to fix it up, car hasn't been serviced for nearly 3 years, it's a death trap.

Sure was, at least I got a meal out of it (again not a euphemism) and same for Thursday.
Also add a full day of work to the mix and I think I have been more productive in the last 2 days than the whole year.

So, to make up for my odd day, my folks just gave me a bottle of Jim Beam, it was a gift from my neighbour as a thanks for saving him earlier in the year.
Honestly, he didn't have to do that, however it's a lovely gesture, and it is good to see him pretty much back to normal.
