Hahaha yep! But this was a 85 leaf sprung one. Not a coily. It was twitchy as fuck at speed. Sick off road though.
@Simon - i thought the 1.6 was too heavy over the front axle.

Isn't the short and narrow wheelbase going to be a problem offroad, especially with the high center of gravity?

It might be. But it is a pretty common conversion.
Isn't the short and narrow wheelbase going to be a problem offroad, especially with the high center of gravity?
