Yeah Haz, it has been a week... not enjoying it too much, but I'll stick it out to see if it improves... just crazy expectation from management and wanting us to work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day and on salary... no thanks...

Regardless of what they expect you to do, what does your contract say you're paid for?

So far I'm doing my 8 hours a day and haven't worked weekends yet because I'm on a different part of the project... but we'll see what happens

Yeah the contract does say "May have to work weekends and public holidays sometimes to meet project deadlines"... which is a relatively normal clause, but they are abusing it...

 

One lady here has been working every weekend, saturday and sunday, since the start of Jan.... so that works out to something like 90 days straight work everyday
