@Garrrry: Do you want hospital cover, benefit cover, or both?
I'm thinking both, though I'm an athletic and generally healthy person and am unsure whether if need full on hospital cover.

When you think about it, young athletic types are more likely to break a limb.
But seriously, I wouldn't worry about hospital cover until it is actually avoiding a tax, meaning wait until your 31st birthday, then the consequent July 1st date - signing up before then will really only give you an edge on elective surgeries.
Benefit cover which is things like dental/optical/physio is reasonably cheap, you should be on a decent package for under $40/m

Watching a dude paint the building across the street. So distracting.
Jesus dude, grow a vagina much?
Beats talking about Coldplay tickets!
I will give you that! yes.

AHM Fund seems to give the best value as far as I can tell.

Yep, I can vouch for this.
I am with NIB and I use the optical/dental/message a bit.

I would assume you are paying for hospital cover, in fact I'm almost certain you must be for that much. I am not going to worry about it until I turn thirty one, as when you live where I do - the different between private hospital and public is a yellow line down the middle of the ward.

Yeah until you need treatment that the private hospitals can't provide then you get sent to public hospitals anyway.

Looks like some heavy shit is about to go down in Thailand. The military has just declared martial law
Seen.
Also, I can't be sure, but I doubt anything nasty will happen straight away.

Exactly. I could pay $1300 to have my appendix out privately, or the exact same surgeon could do it on the public system... where I got my own room.......
....
The only pain was being wheeled between the private and public section of Bunbury Hoss (it's a bit different now apparently, but whatever)
