I love Gazanias...a few of my customers have them pretty much all over their 'nature strip' (is that a common term over west? for the piece of land between the footpath and the road?) I find they are a bitch to grow where YOU want them, but they self seed like madmen

Do you guys have access to 1080? Normally you buy carrots and get them treated. May farm mates just buy a heap of carrots and chop them up in a metal bucket using a spade...start leaving carrot scraps where you see evidence of them (scratching areas and droppings) to get them used to carrots for a couple of weeks, then dump baited ones. Made a huge difference on their property, but ideally, all your neighbours need to do it at the same time too.

I don't share your concern for Rabbits. They are introduced and are massive pests (over here they are anyway)

Rabbits qualify for 0% of my sympathy.

Yeah that is what I did pre-dog ownership (but it was meat for foxes)

I don't have sympathy, it's just more of a hassle to shoot them than anything else really.

For me in my own situation. Everyone is different I guess. I have no love for a rabbit/fox etc.
