Yeah Plasti-dip, looks cool, cheap and easy, but what happens when rocks hit your wheels? Does it just chip like paint? Obviously it would tear not chip but you know what I mean.

When I painted the wheels on my Civic I primed and painted and they still chipped a tiny bit. Plus painting with tyres still on is balls.

It's rubberised so it should accept some punishment. Dunno about full on gravel spray, but

Yeah in their FAQs they say it will stand up to Rally driving....so by proxy it makes my car a rally car.

Yeah research suggests I'll need 4 cans of Plasti-dip at $30 a pop, plus 2-3 cans of glossifier at another $30 a pop, so that's $210, plus having to risk overspray on the tyres.

CBF.

Tip for painting rims with tyres on.
Get a pack of good or shit playing cards and stand them between rim and tyre gives good protections. Easy and quick as fork.

Yep, did that when I painted rims last time, did work, had minimal overspray, but those were stock Honda rims on my EG6 with old tyres, so wasn't too concerned, but not doing the same on my Suby rims. Will just wait till I need new tyres and get Rims plasti-dipped or powdered then.

Cheers for the advice though.

In other news, Capsicum is a dodgy word.

It's shifty.

I wouldn't even consider plasti-dip for rims, purely because of stones/gravel. I'd do it only as a temporary solution to see what they looked like in a different colour.

I am a country bumpkin with gravel roads left right centre though.

Yeah but even in the city your wheels still get marked.

I just know powdercoating is a more permanent solution, and I'm only going down a few shades in silver.

I agree though if I found plasti-dip in the colour I wanted it would be a good temp solution to see if I liked the colour on my car.

Sup!

Still not sure if today was a cubt of a day or not.

I'm gonna go with yes.

Time for beer!

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Was it going to result in beer no matter what option you chose?

That is a very good question.
