I like camping in winter, Summer sucks arse because as soon as the sun comes up it is 13 million degrees inside the tent unless you put a reflective tarp over it to try and delay the onslaught of heat.

1962 Bonneville 4dr hardtop. Had it for a while now but only been working on it since Christmas. Lost my job just before Easter so progress halted for a while. I'm about to start hitting the rust in it.

 

I probably should do a thread on it if the CBF factor gets above 1.

A canvas tent is good in summer. I throw a silver tarp over the camper with a small air gap.

Temps stay cool enough that you dont leap out of bed in a torrent of sweat the second the sun comes up.

Often we sleep to a couple of hours after dawn when the forecast is for mid 30's.

Probably. Just got the fat bitch's boo-tay up in the air this arvo. Gotta cut most of the boot floor out, lower RH rear inner & outer guard and weld in a new sail panel as the one on the car is creased badly. 

 

Then, lots and lots and lots of etch primer, fix the dents in the boot, prime it and I've only got the front guards, bonnet and two nosecone pieces to work on... oh, and build an engine, trans, reco the tailshaft, get fuel tank welded up and painted, buy the trans adapter, fit the heater, repaint the firewall, torque all suspension, pay for and fit disc brake kit, run all new hardlines, pay for and bag the thing, respring/cover the seats, make new door trims, then block the whole fookin thing and paint it... :\
