Ha, didn't know that Nicko. I do 10/week minimum. Maybe that's why my payslip shows a base rate and the. "Overtime" paid.

Oh well. Shit happens. Just gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes! I'm only gonna do a few hours tomorrow, but if it becomes a regular thing I will be telling em to piss owf

So going by this;

http://www.fairwork....ertime-applies#

You can refuse it on the grounds that it is unreasonable due to them not paying you extra for it, not paying a higher wage for Saturdays and not giving enough notice.

I'd just say to them 'Hey I'm happy to come in tomorrow, but will it be reflected in my next pay? Cos my friend the NSW Workplace Ombudsman said you can pay me more or get forked'

I know that you probably do a bit of unpaid overtime to gain favour, but you have to set a boundary in your mind of what is enough, and when that boundary is crossed you have to raise it with the boss. That being said, you can still go back 15 yrs later and sue for overtime.

Yeah fair enough.

Thanks for the info! But according to my pay slip I'm getting paid for the overtime. My "base rate is 45k and then the rest makes up my salary in my contract. Seems a bit dodgy. And I'm not unhappy here so I don't particularly care to persue it.

Still good to know.

Is it parted to one side? With a piercing? And it likes My Chemical Romance? And it wishes people would just leave it alone cos they just don't get 'it'?

I've always wondered, what happens when you go against the warning on your petrol cover and do overfill your tank? What harm can be done?

Subaru void your car.

It ceases to be classified as a car.

It is void and thrown into the world of nothingness, a black hole of cars with over full petrol tanks.

The warning isn't a joke.
