What is wrong with Church today? The founder wanted us to simply love one another. Oh, but that is too simple, we will need to complicate that with conditions, principles, morals and religious legalistic and bigoted BS. Otherwise, no prob's.

If I were to be totally honest. What I read in the Bible, and what is demonstrated to me are two separate things. Seems like Pastors are over paid and under qualified tax cheats.

After being a Pentecostal "Born Again Christian" for 30 years, What is my conclusion? Just save all the debate. Consider all the time and energy we spend on pursuing and maintaining our possessions. We are so focussed on owning more and more possessions. To the extent that we become obsessed with owning stuff that is temporary to the detriment of doing what is really important. Religion, and the damage it does. Each one of us have a reason, NOT to attend church - because - Whatever has pissed you off. But, how many of us will forgive and show grace, just as we were given.

About to head off for a day in the field, going to be a tough gig shooting all my mates playing cricket today, especially the minutes silence for Phil Hughes, its the shit part of my job sometimes, i'd love to be taking part in the silence, but sadly its my job to show others paying respects... There is a Divine Joy that God wishes us to access. We cannot. WHY? Because we limit God to what we believe He can Do.

How do You know, when you are doing what God has told what to do? When Jesus told us that true believers will hear His voice. What does His voice sound like? Personally, to me, it is the still small voice, that can only be heard when you dismiss all the external influences of this temporary existence. Christianity has been divided by denominations, separated by doctrinal differences. Within a Church, The Devil can still cause further division, through personal divisions. So Personal forgiveness is very important to maintain any grip on reality.

One week ago I made a few people very concerned for my welfare due to my severe depression. Since then I have had an appointment with a psychiatrist and commenced medication, unfortunately it will take 3 - 4 weeks before it starts to work. I have battled the Black dog for last 5 years since my divorce and separation from my 3 children. Battled in secret, nobody knew I was suffering inside and masking how I really felt. When Praying for healing, remember that the answer is God's prerogative, not His obligation. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Trust not in your own understanding. In All your ways acknowledge Him And He will direct your path. The physical "things" we crave are only temporary, regardless if they are for healing, finances or whatever. We need to alter our focus from being so self focused And be more Kingdom focused, meeting the needs of others, not ourselves.

Honesty, is my motto, refection gives clarity on past actions and consequences. My problem is that I have Foot and Mouth Disease. Every time I open my mouth, I put my foot in it. OK, you can identify with that, you have been guilty of the same, occasionally. My problem is, every time I open my mouth, I manage to put my silly foot in it. So therefore I have become an insular hermit, to save people from my own stupid comments.
