Mine has been fine.

They done an update to the app about a week ago and it's now got a new orange theme when you start it up. Are you on that version?

Yep. It was working post update up until yesterday.

1 full day of Tapatalk being down. T_T

I was stuck in a void while in messenger. Couldn't go back without it crashing.

Received a PM, clicked it and has corrected everything, allowing me to use the board index.
