Great! :) I spose I can just wait until Autobarn or Repco have one of their 20% off sales. Or if SuperCheapAuto has it, I can get 20% thanks to the NRMA....

Anyways, I'm going to chuck some amber LEDs in my JDM foggies and have them come on in conjunction with my hazard lights. As it is, my hazards stay on for about 15-seconds when I unlock the car so 15-seconds of LED light would be more useful to me than the original cornering function.

Can someone tell me the bulb type for that corner globe?

is that the corner globe on the outside area of the foglight? the one the smash repairers replaced mine with is now JDM (yes i now have one of each) and it looks like it is just a regular socket. as in the same globe blinkers use - bayonet style. mine didnt come with proper sockets tho, just plugs where i could put one in one day!

Oh and be sure to list the one JDM light you have when it comes time to sell your car. It'll totally increase your cars value :P

hey guys, recently bought a gen 2, series 2 rx front bar, with these foggies, but it has no mounting point for the outside globe!!!! i guess mine are not JDM

sooo, i have had an idea, the grey plastic cover is still there, and i have ordered some amber LED globes for the spot, hoping to drill out the hole, because a shiny bit of plastic wont let me in, and somehow fit the amber led's in there, any suggestions on how i can hold the globes in???

Also i think i will run 6000K 35w HID's in the fog lights, which i have wired up to my own way!!

i get the positive from the glove box light, run it to a small on/off switch, convinently located in my glove box, run that through my firewall down to the fog lights, and ground straight to the battery, now the lights come on as soon as my parkers come on, and go off when i remove the key, and i can also turn them on and off with my glove box switch

i did have to upgrade the interior fuse from a 10A to a 15A because i may have blown it once... or twice, but it works an absolute treat!!!

Careful you don't overload the wiring!!!

The 10 amp fuse it to protect the wiring!

You are better off using a relay switched by that wire and grabbing the power straight from the battery (fused obviously)

and it makes it even better when you pick up the front and rear bar (for a sedan- so the rear bar is useless to me)for all of $9, yep thats right, less than a single blue Australian note for a RX front and rear bar including the foglights!!!!

hopefully the hid's dont draw too much, yet to install untill i get the bumper painted

ALSO, is there a way to remove the foglight assembly without having to remove the bumper, i have tried sliding the foglights in from the front, but they dont want to go!!

yerp, $9, off Grays Online, a subaru wreckers was relocating down here in melb, so they had a massive auction of their stuff!

Im glad i held out and didnt buy the ebay one for $644, without the foglights!! :)
