Let me know when you want to get rid of them and ill take them off your hands very happily, are they orange in the indicators? and they have a seperate HIGH beam to the standard projector am i right?

If I recall correctly, I think there are screws accessible from the front. You need to get right down low and look up to the top of the fog light cavity and you'll spot them. Dunno if that loosens them completely though...

i get the positive from the glove box light, run it to a small on/off switch, convinently located in my glove box, run that through my firewall down to the fog lights, and ground straight to the battery, now the lights come on as soon as my parkers come on, and go off when i remove the key, and i can also turn them on and off with my glove box switch

Wow, this honestly sounds like a really bad idea.
Chuck a relay in there as was suggested earlier, you'd only need to run 1 extra wire, and a relay is what like $10?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

yeah i will look into it, its already running through a relay, the interior light relay, and the wire to the fog-lights is also fused, if i forgot to mention earlier...

The problem is the relay and the wire up to that fuse is not rated for that much load. If it's been working fine for 12 months that's great, but you might find one night you go for a longer than normal drive, suddenly the wire melts and catches fire. A fuse is only useful if the wiring it's protecting has the same or higher load rating.

well the wiring must be rated to a half decent rating because i checked it the other day when i reconnected the fogies and no melting, not copper color change, but as im putting in HID's, they will probably draw more so i will defiantly be running a relay.

Also been driving for 7hours straight with the fog lights on, and foot-well LED's on (connected the same way) and no damage, i may just be lucky :scratch_one-s_head:

Xon, do you know how i could get the foglights in/out without removing the bumper?? i know about the bolts and the plugs at the rear of the foglights

your wiring sounds extremely dodge

to remove the foggies there are a couple of bolts holding them on cant remember if you can access them from underneith by moving the inner guard

if not the frontbar comes off easy, just a few clips and a couple bolts

does anyone know if i drill into the silver reflective plastic, will it crack or break??

pre-drill it and itll be fine, but why?

Funny story, I watched a guy pull up in the main street in town on the weekend with his car smoking. He got out, strolled over the road and enjoyed a coffee while his car burnt down over the road.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

Haha nah it was near home. All I saw near your place was lowered dungers dragging their bumpers around!

its all good guys, when i had the bumper off on Sunday i re did all the wiring, have run a separate switch, relay and fuse with proper wiring from jaycar. So we don't have to worry about my car burning to a crisp!!

i want to drill it out and put a led turn signal next to the projector beam as there is nothing there at the moment, just a piece of silver plastic blocking me to the entrance of the light, as my for lights are non JDM, i don't have a set up for a globe there, hence i will drill out the plastic, and i have a amber led globe and socket that i will retrofit in there to come on when the indicators are on!!
