Who uses even close to that much mobile data?

 

My GF just swapped to boost and for the 2nd month in a row she has hit the data cap.

 

I personally use about 1.5GB myself.


Wifi at home. Work don't let us use the store wifi, yet, all the websites we need to access have been blocked, bunch of tight arsed *** cubts.

Yeah, but according to all the Telcos, 1GB is MASSIVE!!!

 

I could easily go through my data limit in about 10 mins if I wasn't careful.

Pretty much. Only thing they don't have yet is 4G on boost.

 

Other than that it's using the full 3G "next G" Telstra network. Not the gimped out wholesale network that other companies have.

If you are on telstra post-paid you will need to call up boost and request a "blank sim". They send that out for free. Once you get it you have to call them up to port your number across as you can't do it online with them for an ex-telstra number.


Wow, just now read that boost are doing 3GB data when you recharge online through till 26 jan 2015

I used to have the best data deal ever. 1.5Gb and free social networking. Rarely used more than 1gb of heavy usage to and from uni 4 times a week. Then TPG realised it was a good deal and decided they couldnt compete so were axing the plan >:(. Back to just 1.5gb

But yeah, I only ever get that '50% used' SMS. Nothing more.
