Where do you kids get the time for these cruises, my spare time on weekends belongs to my girly. No actually all my spare time when she's home belongs to her.

I might kayak up to Palm Beach that day though, it's nice spot, love it up there. Should only take me 2 days to paddle up.

Yeah my Uni wraps up next week. Then I'm not studying again for 13 weeks due to being o/s for a while.

How's study going Rob? I should be on a 6 GPA after my exam next week.

Yeah, I work in the same field I study so can study at work or discuss theories and shite with graduates at work. 5 is good. I think I might change next year, just not sure what to. Got into Law, Business and Psych at UNSW and also some interstate schools, so will have to think about it. Bit hamstrung because I have to study part time, but it's all good.

No doubt trying to earn big bucks on your holidays.

Yeah I work as a 3ic for Supercheap, do that part time.

I get fairly decent money, enough anyway.

Ah that's cool, as long as they give you mad hours now that you're free all the time. Supercheap would be fun to work at, you can go put '+5kw' signs next to the cannon mufflers.

Yeah they look after me, got 34 hours of work next week.

Basically wanted to neck myself on Saturday because staff not turning up for shifts and customers being cubts
All that stress for an extra 30 bucks for the day for being the mod.

And that's why I turned down a management role at an old job.

Come to think of it there was only an increase of an extra $1 per hour for management.

Lucky to get any wage growth these days Harry, Unions are the weakest they've been in ages and even the ADF is getting forked with wages, I'd take $1 extra an hour, that's $2000/year. But I guess you're saying the increase didn't justify the increased workload.

I'm toying with the idea of staying up after work this morning and using power tools, good idea or bad idea, we'll see. I have plenty of ice in the freezer and live pretty close to an ER.

You've definitely thought about it well for the worst-case scenario. Do you find your body and mind played around with the change to shift work? You worked normal hours in your previous job right?
