inb4 wrong forum

Hey Guys,

Really keen on getting back into Suby's as my E30 is not really a good daily driver and it's in such good condition/low K's I don't want to keep driving it.

I am looking at SH Foresters or Spec. B Gen4 libs.

I've found this:

http://www.carsales..../SSE-AD-2997672

He is willing to sell for $17k. What do you guys think?

Cheers

Nick

Hi,

Interior quality us really bad. The spec.b is much nicer as a car.

Cheers,
Nik

Hi Nik,

Thanks. I am mainly looking for XT Premiums. It's so hard to find the right Spec.B I have been looking for months now and there is never more then 1 or 2 on there.. the rest are auto or with 150k+ km's.

Cheers,
Nick

That Xt doesn't seem to bad except for the interior and it also has black paint which I would never buy a car in personally.

You really shouldn't have much trouble finding a decent Xt. Most have been used by families so the interior might have seen better days but at least they haven't been modified.

I love that colour. Looks schmick when clean :)

Yes, Gen 4 spec.B's are a muce more refined car in terms of interior quality but they are as rare as hens teeth.

$17k seems pretty good for an SH XT with 100k on the clock.

Take her for a spin and see what you think.

I presume you're after a wagon Spec-B or would you consider a sedan?

Hi,

Yeah this here is an XTL(Premium), and I can tell you the interior is absolutely shocking. May as well be a hire car. Compared to my car 6 years older, it's pretty embarrassing.

6spd Spec.B's are few and far between, but I can't say I've ever seen one that looked like a poor example.

If you haven't driven a gen4 with the 5spd then I suggest you give it a try with open eyes.

Cheers,

Nik

Get the SpecB.

If you do, go for a MY07 or later as they have a bit more kit than the earlier ones.

Yes, I'm biased. :)

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Hi,

I would also say if you're looking there, and you're not one of those 'oh no it's auto, I wasn't going to a vasectomy till 45' people - check the prices On Outback Premium Pack's, for what is essentially the same car.

Cheers,

Nik

Yep, definitely going for a series 2 Spec.B.. I don't like the small difference on the earlier model.

I am looking for a sedan or wagon Spec. B, but also keen on premium XT SH Foresters.

I am waiting to see what this turns out to be.. I can never trust dealer cars.

Best decision I ever made to get a spec b. I was lucky and found one with 27k on it (MY07 Manual). Couldn't go back to the subaru 5spd again, had too many..

Definitely go for a 2008 tbSTi or 2009 GTB/SpecB. One of them will be my next car when the time comes for me to sell my current one. I'd go the Liberty over the Forester as well however the newest Foresters (and freshly announced STi model) do look pretty cool.

It's not a Premium as you requested, but a friend of mine is selling his 2009 Forester XT. It's got low mileage, full Alpine audio equipment and may well be worth your while. Here are links to the SubyClub and CarSales ads.

Ha ha, I know. But it doesn't make you any less masculine.

Ha ha, I know. But it doesn't make you any less masculine.

Dude, there's no questioning that.

1) his E30 will make it rain punani like you could only begin to imagine. Snatchopolypse. (I once had an E36, was more like an occasional shower. Ain't even mad.)
2) his job will make all the single mums wave their panties, again, burying him with even more poon. Not sure if breathing apparatus is required at this point, but no doubt, Nick is boss enough to have accounted for this.

With levels of vash enough to declare an national disaster, I'd quite confident in assuming that there's certainly no questioning Nick's masculinity.

Hahaha you're a legend Alex.
Found a spec.b parked in a parking lot today.. manual, that dark grey colour.. looks original and clean.. left a note on the window.

Otherwise if I can't find a spec.b soon enough I'm just gonna have to settle for the Foz.
