If you dont intend keeping it long, I wouldnt spend money on STi anything, although you can remove later and resell. ;)

If you do want it lowered, for the price i would go kings. I had King lows in my 2.2 and i was more than happy with the way it sat, handled and the firmness.

Honeslty now after seeing the car with the wheels on and being bored at work dreaming up what i could do to it, i dont know WTF im gonna do. Keep it or sell it who knows? ATM im thinking ill keep it until im off my P' so insurance wont be as high on my next car (S14).

Seems that people have different opinions on Kings, You seem t like them, Soop absolutly (sp? looks wrong) loathes them.

Oh btw just saw some 02 STi struts with Lows for $300 on rexnet. Cheaper than new stock KYB's.

Kings are OK, so are Whiteline. Soop just doen't like them as a personal choice. There are so many Libs running around out there with Kings.. That kinda says something doesn't it?

I'm flattered. But don't base a desicion on what I or any other single person has to say. It's foolish :).

Im not basing my decision purely on what poop has said. Other people that i know have bad mouthed them. SUBARU: very valid point you have there. I guess ill have a look around at my other options before making a decision.

So ive been EXTREMELY lazy with updating this thread. Had some development over the last few months. A couple of weeks after getting my wheels (mid Dec i think) i was bored so got a mate around and fitted my 277mm Twin pot Leggy brakes. Was nice and simple, learnt a bit, got dirty, got mum all angry for getting grease on the laundry walls after washing our hands. Was a good day :P. Oh painted my calipers Matte Black. 90% of everyone that notices or i tell that i have black calipers says that i should of painted them red. They get a sarcastic remark in return. Also put in some fresh struts. Only Monroe Originals. Woulda gone STi's but im selling up soon, not worth it plus standard cars appeal more to the average joe (i have other standard parts in my shed). Can see fresh front shocks in these pics, didnt have the rears in because of some ummmm set backs shall we say :P. When i wa sover in Vic over New Years i caught up withMark (CRUISN), and he very kindly gave me his 18mm Leggy rear sway bar and links with fancy red bushes :P. Thanks again Mark, muchly appreciated :D.That got put in as well but no pics. Im sure we can all imagine what a standard sway bar looks like with nolothane bushes. On a recent cruise i blew my timing cover seal so thats leaking now which is nice. Lovely smell when i stop at the lights and on occasions a nice bit of smoke. Make sit look much worse than it is. Luckily this iwll get fixed at school in auto for $45 with two new cam seals :). Much better than $250 even though thats farkin cheap as well.
