Went to watch Fast and Furious 7 again tonight, mainly for the social outing with some mates and the fact that it was on a free ticket; no one else wanted to or was able to make it.

Still got them feels at the end of the movie.

Time for bed.

My palms need a breeze to seize the sweaty beads that filter through my guilt.

Rosberg, are you embarrassed that I found your youtube hit?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Morning.

Fork me there are some cubts out there. Gotta have a rant.

I went for a job interview about a month ago and the interview went well and they said they would contact me in 1-2 weeks to let me know if I was successful or not.

So its now a month later and in the mean time I have already had another interview for a different company and was offered the position and have taken it. Anyways I'm kinda pissed off about that first interview so I rang the business to find out whats going. I ask to speak with the manager and he was busy at the time and the girl answering the phone took my details and had informed me that the position had been filled and the manager would call me back.

4 hours later and still no call so I call them back and finally get a hold of the manager. He says the position was been filled and the new staff member is on probation and the other 25 people who had interview would be contacted after his probation period ends.

What the actual fork???

So I tell him thats not good enough. I took time out of my day to show up for the interview and you don't even have the time to call me or at the very least send out a mass email to let people know that the position has now been filled?

What absolute cubt. Why the fork would you leave people hanging like that?

end rant.

I have just had this same conversation at work.

Cubts should have contacted all applicants once the position was filled.

Our HR dept is absolutely forking useless. When we had redundancies last year they rang one bloke on his birthday to tell him he'd lost his job...

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Our HR dept is absolutely forking useless.

A few jobs back they did a mass-redundancy meeting where they called about 15 people into a room in the middle of the day and said "you're all let go" then let them walk back through the office all at once to collect their things.

Talk about walk of shame.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

This happened to a friend of my wife.

21 years as a production manager with a large ad agency. Called into the office to get the news, while she was in the office IT were shutting down her access and security were packing her belongings into a box, then she was escorted from the building.

Fork that is so shitty.

I would like to think she claimed unfair dismissal on that one.
