If they wanted you, they would be in contact with you, simple. Move on, take the next job.
I do agree with that to some extent, if I didn't hear back I would assume that it was not successful, but at the same time a courtesy call to say the position has been filled is the right thing to do.

I like a quote I saw about employment. That a job is nothing more than a business contract, and just like a contract it can be reviewed at any stage by the employer as to whether it is still beneficial. and therefore you as an employee should review it just as constantly.
I think I saw it in response to guys whinging about being let go after so many years service at a company, 'Where's the loyalty' etc. Long story short, the job market is a shark tank, and even when you have a job you should still look around to see if there's a better job, because chances are your boss is always looking around to see if there's a better/cheaper employee, at least in the private sector.

Yep, try finding a job while simultaneously swimming and fending off sharks.
'Goddamit, I'm on the phone, show some manners'
Life = hard.
Actually, wo, brain wave, what if....we put dole bludgers in a shark tank until they found a job.

The way I see it is you either adjust your work behaviour or, if you are not happy, get out.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yep, employment in an organisation is like natural selection, you evolve and change or you die out (get fired).
A dynamic employee always has a job.

Yep. Last job was like this. Had to learn to do sales, quotes, production management, QA, After sales support, Accounting and other crap. Just to keep busy and keep the business ticking along.
Power is our at work and I have a project to finish before I leave. Great.
Sounds like you now have 2 projects.
1. Build a generator.
2. Undisclosed Project.

fork I am sick of hearing about peoples "feels" at the end of this forking movie.
Harden the fork up.
The doctors need to hurry up and transplant that real heart in to you.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.
