Fark travelling with kids Zac, I've seen it too many times, they can stay home until they're teens, unless we are going to a resort that has 24hr childcare.

Yeah wouldn't be too much fun when they are young, which is why we'll wait, but she is always very good when we go out.

Have taken her to little short breaks away and she has loved it, so in a few years time, she'll be old enough to appreciate an overseas holiday

Morning cubts

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Not too bad. Last day in this office, and then back to St Leonards for me for a while I guess.

Traffic was horrid this morning driving in, due to Hillsong Conference being on in Homebush

Anyway, how you doing, Mr Money?

Pain in the ass. I had to get it jumpstarted at indoor last night, get home, switch it off and tried switching on to see if it worked and it did. Tried switching on this morning and no go.

Recommendations on batteries, or should I just get the same as I had before (Century Hi Performance)?

Yeah Century seem to be the way to go, how old is the battery?

I can bring a Multimeter tommorrow night to check if your Alternator is all good.

Ummm, the battery was bought on the 18th of February, 2013. It could most probably be my alternator too. I don't know.

I've got heaps to do...

Wash car

Finish off camper kitchen (it's only been two years..)

Tidy garage

Mow lawns

Plus I have a day planned this week to swap over my braques, maybe fit some wheel bearings and fix a small knock I have in the front end.

How long has this one lasted? It will have a (coded) date branded in the case somewhere.

Century are OK but I hate the yellow/blue colour combo most of them have.

I have always used Supercharge as their warranty is often longer than others. Don't fit a calcium battery as they require a slightly higher charge rate that your charging system does not support, leaving a battery that never gets fully charged thus reducing it's life.

That's rubbish. Something is not right.

You should get 4 years min from most batteries, after that you are on borrowed time. I replace mine every four years regardless to avoid getting stuck.

get an Optima?

Overkill and expensive.

Thanks for the run down Jase. What I also found weird was the indicator displaying as the battery being fine. I recently topped up the cells with distilled water too, so I wouldn't have thought it to be the battery.

Looks like I'll take you up on the multimeter option, Start. I have one at home I just have to find it (and I don't know the steps involved to check). Looks like I'll carry jump leads in case.
