Nah might give it a miss this year.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

First day done. I know it's only early days but I enjoyed today. Keen as to progress through it all.

Have fun Garrrry....

Don't steal all the money (Leave some for me)

No money to steal. It's training remember... :P

Good luck Gaz.

You'll smash it, mate.

Thanks a lot man. It was only the first day but still quite a bit to take in. Had breakfast and lunch with Jess who works only a block away which is awesome so that's a bonus. There are six others in the group all starting in different branches so it's not boring or anything at all and they all seem to be quite easy to communicate with so far.

If I told you I was going camping in the weather we have been having over the last four days, would you think I was nuts?

Not really, because it's the middle of July, which is also known as winter, so I would say enjoy. I'm going to happily stay inside, with the heater on.

Yeah mad, would be fun.

So many people, and very much the media have been making out like the weather has been so drastic over the last few days.

Now, I might be new to this, but i'm pretty sure this sort of weather happens around this time, every year. Stop me if i'm wrong.

We had 13-14 deg each day and some rain. Nothing to write home about, just winter weather.

As you can see the campsite was packed with like minded people....

The media have said that there will be this sudden and significant cold snap happening Sunday arvo/evening. It's cold, but nothing out of the ordinary during the WINTER season.

Seriously.

On other news, scored three goals in indoor tonight. I can't wait to get into this hot spa; just a few more seconds for the water to reach the perfect level.

@Gaz,

Glad day one went well.

Thanks Jase. :)

Yeww. Mad Jase, I love camping, only downside to camping in the cold is the dexterity you lose in your fingers and then you have to fidget with stupid clips and shit on our pack or tent. Prefer camping in the winter to having that shitty 8am tent-oven effect you get in summer.

This is why Im a canvas convert. Takes far longer to heat up in the sun and keeps heat in during cold weather.
Only downside is it takes up a fk load of room and weighs a ton. :P

All you need for real camping is a swag, camp oven and esky full of beer. Throw in a riverbank and your set.
I personally can't stand "campsites" as I go camping to get away from people.

Parents have ~300 acres up near Bulladelah that we regularly spend the weekend at. But that's mainly just to get away and take our bikes for a thrash, no river unfortunately.
But we also have family friends that manages properties out at Merriwa and Warren both on rivers that we head out to a couple of times a year but they are just a big piss up with a bit of fishing involved.
And going in winter is a bonus as you can have a fire legally. I'll try and find some photos of some of the massive logs we have burnt.

Definitely an advantage in taking the bare minimum however, I have a young family and we camp for anything up to two weeks at a time so swags are not on the radar.

If it were just me and the missus and we were touring, then a swag under the vehicles rollout awning would be the go.

Big time. But at the same time I have apparently got too much bullshit to talk about so I don't bother. :)

Yeah understand that, we have a caravan setup for the kids up at the bulledelah property. Makes it much easier.

But I'm a country boy at heart and have always camped in a swag so that's just the norm for me.

It is pretty amazing to see the difference in views on what people perceive as "camping"

I swear everyone here on the coast thinks it's setting up a dome tent in a tourist park and roasting marshmallows around a small fire ringed with sandstone rocks. (Big Mistake) Then head into the local shops for breakfast lunch and dinner.
