They're probably going to do the timing belt service on the B4, and the front end is falling apart so its looking like brakes and bearings etc. The replacement CV/Hub that happened when I got the tyres, fairly sure the bearing is failing already and its spraying CV grease from the inner boot which isn't clamped enough. Fork half arsed mechanics. Even when I took it back to Bridgestone they 'couldn't find anything wrong'. I'm not a forking retard.
I'm pretty particular about my car, never half arse anything. They didn't even put my original brake shield back on. I have one off another model on the passenger side atm. My mechanic is going to hopefully sort it all out, including the brake shield if he can find one lol.

Chris!
Made redundant twice in two years would definitely suck testicles. Hope things work out with the new gig!
You hit the nail on the head Morgs. Big hairy testicles.
The new gig is back in the auto industry, so it's nice being back where my interests are peaked.
Good thanks Chris.
Bummer about the work situation a while back, glad to heat it's sorted.
The white wagon? IIRC that was near new when you bought it.
Yeah mate, the white wagon is the one. It's an MY08 and I bought it in 09.
Now with the Passat wagon as the car my missus drives and me with my wagon, I'm really thinking it's time for a fun car for me.
Thinking something like:
2016 WRX
2016 Golf 7 GTI
2016 Golf 7 R-Line (not the R) - R-Line is a more of a warm hatch.
2016 Skoda Octavia RS. Maybe.
Dunno what else interests me.
Have you still got your RX?

I thought I was the first to like the Skoda Octavia RS. I reckon they look tops.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille
Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Shits me to tears when I hear this.
Half the fkwits in the trade shouldn't be there, totally the wrong attitude. Its going to get worse, a lot worse, as funding for quality training is non existent. There is too much emphasis placed on training in the workplace, leaving the training facilities concentrating on mostly theory. All this does is cement bad habits in the industry to the point where they become the norm. Other issues influence regulation and wages. Any muppet can work as a mechanic qualified or not, plus the wages are below most other trades (despite being the most technical and most changing) so the trade has the added dilemma of attracting the outcasts from other areas.
In the US there is a waiting list to be trained as a mechanic, and it involves two years full time intensive training, plus workplace training after that. The US apprentices are at a level higher than most of the mechanics I have seen here.
Take it back, ask to speak to the manager and inform him the work is unacceptable.

Yep, I'd like to replace it but the wife still loves it and it has been uber reliable. Keep thinking a RS Impreza would be the go next.
I bailed out of the Commodore wagon a couple of years ago to a MY07 3.0R Spec B 6sp wagon, a little nicer to drive than the Commodore.

Me too, they are my favourite VAG product without an Audi badge.
Keep in mind the Skoda RS waiting list though...

I reckon so too, there's a lot of value for money in the RS, although they are effectively a fat Golf GTI

As usual, your missus is probably right. That's the dilemma I too face with the Liberty. It's been ridiculously reliable.
I bet the spec b was a big change from the Commo! Nice.

Morning.
Big day today.... I'm about to finish the three year build of the camper trailer kitchen. Well, it's a big day for me anyway....

Morgs, when you have finished polishing your knob with the toy cars, get back to me. (If it's an 80837 rather than 81837, then the Celica box makes sense)

I like quiet, well, at least that's what the voices tell me.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"
