They are easy to catch, but hard to keep locked up.
Unless you have Hypnotic powers

Morgs, when you have finished polishing your knob with the toy cars, get back to me. (If it's an 80837 rather than 81837, then the Celica box makes sense)

@ TSG.....
What's the car actually running like? Strong or weak primary boost?
What's the VOD like?
Is it tuned or stock?
The rattle at idle of your ECV would usually mean primary boost is less than normal because the valve, or flap, in the up pipe isn't sealing & exhaust gasses are being vented to secondary spooling.... From idle. Not when it's supposed to.
Not good for your secondary turbo mate & Will kill it over time as it will be spooling constantly.
I can tell you how to adjust it if you need to know.
You can do a quick check, let the car idle & warm up to temp.....then pop the hood & check the secondary turbo's radiant heat with your hand (Don't touch it, just put your hand close to it)
If it's quite warm, then the turbo is spooling, the flap is open & ECV rod will need to be adjusted.

Lol so broke gearbox again last Tuesday. Finally got around to ripping it apart, destroyed first again. Didn't even launch it just rolling on boost and it went bang. Managed to limp it home luckily was only around the corner. Borrowed td05-20g probably had something to do with it...

Fine work Morgs, you lucky bugger!
Looks like someone has fitted a Celica box behind the 327 Chev. Not something you see every day, common on the Holden powered cars. (80837)
That would have been the 279th HK GTS to roll of the line at Sydney's Pagewood plant, finished in Bright Blue Metallic with Parchment/Black trim.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Wish you could come up here and have a squiz, mate. I spent hours today starting as many Holdens as I could (well, the ones you don't need keys for).
And took the HK GTS for a spin. Man those 327s have some guts. Th original 4sp is in the boot but haven't been able to get it open (any tricks you know of Jase?)
Need a key to start the older ones but they are still cool.
Cleanest FJ ute in the country

WB Caprice with a Bentley
Insanely clean Escort GT. It's a replica but I don't even care. So insanely clean.
Datsun 240z that's still registered. Took it for a proper drive out on the street.
260z 2+2
Probably my favourite of the day. Jensen Interceptor. Best noise. Many fasts. Very skids. Wow.
Ok. That's enough for now.
