Hahaha, dude comes in the other day to refinance his mortgage to NAB. Asked him how much his place was worth and he was like $550k if I am being GENEROUS.

Valuation came back today at $750k. He is gunna be cheering when I call him and tell him haha.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Haha is that because house prices in Sydney are insane right now, or is it just he actual bank valuation of the house?

That is legit the bank valuation that came back. Which you would expect to be "conservative"

True value if he was to sell it would likely be $800k+

Damn. Lucky dude,

I'd do a bank valuation on my house just for the fun of it, and to remortgage someday :)

You'd likely be surprised how much more it would be worth sack.

Also, just saw a dude on a YZ125 pop a mono past my office window on the sidewalk.

Crazy times.

I can value it for you;

Brick construction =+$100,000
Nice driveway =+$20,000
Nice backyard =+$50,000
4 bedrooms =+$100,000
Western Sydney=-$800,000

Sir, you owe the bank $530,000.

Haha wow, I am pleasantly surprised with that valuation. I expected to owe the bank more. Lol!

Also, not brick construction and only 3br, but shhhhhh.

Yeah I think it went pretty swimmingly Sack. I met with 2 x Area Managers, and one of them was the branch manager at North Sydney when I was there, so a good part of the interview was having a joke, and reminicing about "old times".

Definitely was one of the more relaxed interviews I've been too. I think thats what I like about Bankwest, is that because they aren't one of the "bIG 4" they don't seem to take everything as seriously as anywhere else.

Should hear back in a week or 2 they reckon.

Well, I've got Gazman, Jordishore both lined up, I just need to get off my ass and order tint.

Nice work man. I thought you met up with the current North Sydney branch manager (which will be my one) but I read what you had posted again. Good news though man. It'd be awesome if you came back to Bankwest. You can never run out of connections in the banking and finance industry. ;)

It's definitely a big plus. Every experience whether it be through the training, interviews, discussions, products, services, etc, all give me those good vibes as well. I 150% do not regret my decision in taking the Bankwest job over the CBA one. Not yet at least; you never say never.

I'm in no hurry to get my wagon done. There are a few other things I hope to get done by the time you're ready with tint.

You all want 20% yeah?

I'm happy with that. I don't want it too dark obviously but if the majority want 20% and it is the only one you're ordering, I'm happy.

My girlfriend wants to get me a new phone for my birthday (couple of weeks away). I wasn't going to get a new phone for a while longer (I have a Nexus 4). But the phone app doesn't have sound or mic these days unless I reboot once a day and battery life is starting to fall off now. I've settled on a Nexus 6 at the moment, I want a bigger screen. The OnePlus 2 looks very interesting too. I can get a Note 4 for similar money but I really don't like the way Samsung handles its software support, or the Samsung bloatware. My Nexus 4 is running Lollipop 5.1.1 and its 2.5 years old.

My next phone will either be the new Nexus or iPhone. OnePlus 2 requires invitations and I don't know of anyone that would have access to one. I have a Nexus 5 and it's definitely given me a light into the world of Android. Top phone for its age and price as well. I got it brand new from someone on the forum.

Thanks lads - Will check out PDR.

I have been asking the same question. I might hit them up once I get some spare cash.

So been looking at what sort of car to buy as a second car when we move out of Sydney. Narrowed it down to a particular car, not VW as the Jetta's in our price range (we won't spend more than $20k on second car) are too stock, and the better ones want BMW money....pfftt. So anyway narrowed it down to this particular car, and then my neighbour buys one and parks next to me in the car park. So now I'm thinking I should just ask him for a test drive.
