dude, you went up by like a liter. what the hell did you expect ?? for it to go down ?

no i didn't...

but it shouldn't have gone up that much... newer technology and all that...

and the standard car (3.0r-b ) should be getting 12l/100km even in town...

BAH!

you live in the middle of nowhere... the most traffic you see is when farmer joe up the road decides to pull his tractor out onto the road to get to his next paddock...

doing highway/country driving it got 10l/100km...

it's just doing cold start/traffic driving = F**ked economy when it's not cold tuned...

Well you would see a similar result if you ran a Stock ECU, exhuast, 6 speed.. etc etc

You run a aftermarket Tunable ECU, Its been changed to suit the power level you want.

More niggawatts = more fuel.

Shepp is pretty busy mate. Sundy mornings it's alright, but during the week I barely bother trying to get into the CBD.

53.42l ($68.11) for 304km...

that's 17.57L/100km

and i have been driving her fairly sedately, just been sitting in traffic mostly...

i am fairly sure that it's cos she isn't cold tuned... she runs like shit when cold...

should have got a cold start tune

Holy Fark that is absolutely drinking.
I wonder if you would have got better fuel economy and similar power on the standard ECU?
Pioneering R&D costs money I spose.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

driving back from brisbane it did 550km from 55l... i was happy with that...

but i'm heaps devo about this bloody figure...

and i'm not driving the car anymore till i can get it properly registered... (let the RTA know about the engine) needs a blue slip and an engineer certificate...

time to start finding somewhere to get one done...

That figure is not great either.

+1.
Considering his power is around what 3.0R owners are achieving, you would hope the economy wouldn't be THAT much worse.
Tristan if it's so sh1t cold just let it warm up to operating temp before you leave?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.
