Lads, honestly it seems to me like you're all having what I like to call "the old person" reaction. Someone changed something you're familiar with, and now you're spitting your prune juice about the fact that a few links have been moved.

Although granted, Google and Firefox blocking the site for having "malware" is somewhat unfortunate timing...
Your avatars and password information were not migrated to the new site because they couldn't be, plain and simple. Passwords are not, and should not, be stored in a format that is recoverable in any way. If you are so adept at notepad designing, I would have expected you to know this.

Fair enough comment to make... It would be even fairer if the site actually worked, so I would hardly say that everyone's reaction is due to them not liking change. The password thing, I imagine, is the least of your problems at the moment.

It's entirely dependent on Google unfortunately. The sites been listed on their "malware" blacklist, which is proving pretty difficult to get off.

The password thing, I imagine, is the least of your problems at the moment.

The password issue was always expected, and I expected people to complain about it, so yeah, it's pretty far down the list at the moment

You'll still be able to access the old forum to read your PM's, but posting will be disabled. We'll be looking in to migrating PM's across to the new site.

Speed will increase as the server settles down from the migration. A huge amount of data was dumped in to the new database, and it takes some time for the database to index all those changes. While that happens, the server becomes pretty unresponsive. For the geeks out there, the server load average has been sitting on 10+.
